What is Functional Exercise?

Functional Exercise is a dynamic style of weight training that integrates the core muscles with the big muscles that move the body - like the legs, glutes, chest and back.
The term "functional" was coined because this integrated approach is reflective of how the body actually works. It is very different from most other forms of weight training, where the body is moving a weight, but being unnaturally stabilized by a seat, bench, or machine...rather than stabilizing itself.
The superior approach used in Functional Training makes it the most cutting edge form of resistance exercise available. Functional Training is weight training...and then some!
With Functional Training you get all the same benefits of typical weight training, and much more.
